Although tennis star Anna Kournikova will be sitting out the US Open this year, the Russian-born blonde was certainly holding court Stateside on Friday as she launched a bra that bears her name in New York.

In a spectacular presentation held at the Big Apple's Grand Central Terminal, the 22-year-old athlete, wearing her hair in trademark ponytails, introduced American audiences to the Anna Kournikova Multiway Bra, which sports the provocative slogan, "Only the ball should bounce."

The sexy tennis player's Shock Absorber bra, currently the best-selling product of its kind in Europe, will be available exclusively on Amazon.com until September 19. During the US Open, ten per cent of the $38.50 purchase price will be donated to the Harlem Junior Tennis Programme non-profit organisation.

Anna will be keeping a close eye on the Open this week, as she'll be covering the event for American cable network USA. However, during Friday's promotional event, she quashed talk that her increasing off-court obligations would mean an end to her tennis career. "I'm still doing what I need to do," she remarked.
