Prince Charles and his companion Camilla Parker Bowles mingled with some of the hottest names in music and fashion on Wednesday, as celebrities including Robbie Williams, Liz Hurley, Beyonce Knowles and Stella McCartney stepped out at the Fashion Rocks benefit for the Prince's Trust.

Creations from 17 top designers, including Prada, Armani and Versace, were shown off at the glitzy Albert Hall showcase, during which statuesque supermodels displayed runway creations as pop stars performed live. Guests paid about £250 for a ticket to the glitzy Albert Hall Event, hosted by Austin Powers star Liz and her close pal, US comedian Denis Leary.

Though Robbie opted for Versace, Beyonce dazzled in Armani and Blue looked dashing in Dolce & Gabbana – the most eye-catching outfits came courtesy of the always-creative Bjork, who wore a sequined face mask, and Grace Jones, who topped her outfit with a standout choice in head gear.

Other stars at the bash included Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Jodie Kidd, Milla Jovovich, Donatella Versace, Simon LeBon, Giorgio Armani, Minnie Driver, Richard Gere and Joan Collins.

Prince Charles, who was accompanied by a Robinson Valentine-clad Camilla, hoped that upwards of £750,000 would be raised for the Prince's Trust, which helps disadvantaged young people overcome barriers to succeed. "The fantastic support we have received from… icons of the world of show business will help us to give even more young people a second chance in life," said the charity's chief executive, Sir Tom Shebbeare.
