PARIS AND STAVROS ROMANCE STILL GOING STRONG

18 APRIL 2006

Despite recent reports that their relationship was in trouble, Paris Hilton and her hunky Greek beau Stavros Niarchos were looking more loved up than ever at a recent outing to an LA basketball game.

And the Hilton heiress, who was eyecatching in a brilliant yellow Lakers t-shirt and matching hairband and sequined cardigan, was clearly blissfully happy in the company of her handsome shipping-heir boyfriend. And at one point, in a flirty gesture, the stylish Simple Life star even fed her man some of her snack, before nestling her head on his shoulder.

Stav, as he is known to his friends, met Paris at Hollywood’s trendy Spider Club just hours after her break-up from former fiancé Paris Latsis.

Despite having chosen to date several high-profile names in the past, including teen star Mary-Kate Olsen, Stavros prefers to avoid the limelight. A keen kite-boarder, he is not afraid of showing off his sporty physique, however, and in the past has accepted modelling assignments with GQ and French Vogue.

The curly haired hunk - whose family's fortune is estimated at over £2.25 billion - is the second wealthy Greek to make a big impact on Paris. She became engaged to his predecessor, Paris, after declaring him “the one”. The romance foundered after five months, though, amid reports the couple had little in common and that his parents disapproved of the match.
