They parted ways last year, but comedy duo Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders have come out of retirement one last time to do a toe-tapping, show-stopping sketch for Comic Relief. The pair have enlisted the help of star pals for a hilarious spoof of Mamma Mia!.

Famous faces taking part in the parody - which is billed as Dawn and Jennifer's last ever TV collaboration - include Joanna Lumley, Little Britain star Matt Lucas and Hollywood beauty Sienna Miller. The pair's comedy swan song can be seen during BBC One's Comic Relief programming, which begins on Friday night at 7pm.

Also lending his comedy expertise to the telethon is Gavin & Stacey actor James Corden. In his segment he takes on the task of motivating the England football squad to achieve World Cup glory.

In character as Smithy, the Buckinghamshire-born funnyman lays into the players, including David Beckham and Rio Ferdinand, about everything from their goal-scoring celebrations to their haircuts.
