And Annie Leibovitz is carrying on the trend of bringing fairytales to adults, immortalising famous celebrities in well-known scenes from Disney. The three latest Disney Dream Portraits are the first new images in the series since 2009 and feature a range of A-listers posing as the most feared movie villains from many a childhood.
House star Olivia Wilde embodies the evil queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, summoning the spirit of her magic mirror in the form of Alec Baldwin. In another shot Jeff Bridges appears as the transformed Beast holding his beloved Belle - played by new mum Penelope Cruz.
The celebratory moment is captioned: "Where a moment of beauty lasts forever." On representing Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Queen Latifah said: "I was excited about doing this project. Villains get to have all the fun."
The series started in 2007, with David Beckham featuring as Prince Charming.
