The break up of her marriage last year left her so heartbroken, she thought she would never find love again. But five months after separating from Michael, 46, her husband of almost 20 years and her business partner in the multi-million pound Ultimo empire, lingerie tycoon Michelle Mone reveals that she’s met a new man, whom she credits for giving her back her "sparkle".
Speaking exclusively to this week's HELLO!, the 40-year-old entrepreneur says she has found happiness with a Dubai-based businessman called Karl - and though it's early days, they have been enjoying romantic breaks and spending time getting to know one another.Photographed during a luxury break at the exclusive Soneva Fushi resort in The Maldives, the attractive mum-of-three tells the magazine: "From the first night I met him, we just clicked." She reveals that she and Karl, who like Michelle, has three children, met in Dubai at Easter, at a dinner with mutual friends. "I found myself sitting next to this guy. He was dark and handsome, but the thing I really liked about him was that I could really talk to him. "Things came up about the situation I was in and after a couple of glasses of wine, I started to cry," she says.
"He took my hand and told me everything was going to be okay, and it was like an angel had come down from heaven and wrapped their arms around me." Michelle's split from Michael turned acrimonious after she discovered he was in a relationship with 31-year-old Samantha Bunn, one of her designers and someone Michelle says she had considered a friend.She says she'd hoped until that point that she and Michael might reconcile, but concedes now: "He's with Sam – he's moved on, and it's time for me to do the same.
