Jessica Simpson found an unconventional way to let the world know she is expecting a baby boy this week. The pregnant star let the news slip that her daughter Maxwell Drew is getting a little brother during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday. "I just feel awful, I've been vomiting" she told the chatshow host as she opened up about her second pregnancy. "The crazy thing is, I never knew that a wiener could actually make me nauseous."
Gasping after realising her mistake, the singer, 32, said, "Well, I guess I've just told the world I am having a boy!"Jessica, who looked elegant in a black dress from her new Destination Maternity line and hot pink heels, took the slip-up in her stride, later tweeting, "Accidental announcement tonight on @jimmykimmel".The popstar and her fiancé Eric Johnson confirmed they were expecting their second baby together in December. Their daughter Maxwell was born on 1 May 2012.She might be having a tough time with this pregnancy, but Jessica isn't going through it alone - she has an important ally in her best friend Cacee Cobb, who is also expecting and due around the same time. "We want our babies to be best friends, cause we are," Jessica revealed. "So we are going to force them to go to school together, force them to eat sandwiches together.
"Hopefully it works out, we would be heartbroken," the star said laughing.Jessica was on the show to promote her new show Fashion Star which begins on NBS on Friday. She is acting as a celebrity judge and mentor to aspiring clothes designers.
