The Clooneys are back to work! Last week George Clooney attended New York Comic Con, and now his new wife Amal has headed to Greece - and with a change of name.
Amal Alamuddin is now listed as Amal Clooney on the website of her law firm, Doughty Street Chambers.
The 36-year-old human rights lawyer arrived in the Greek capital, Athens, with archaelogist David Hill and barrister Geoffrey Robertson, to meet with the Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and culture officials.
Amal will be working with the Greek government and British officials on the options available to help bring back a collection of classical Greek marble sculptures - known as the Parthenon Marbles or the Elgin Marbles - from the British Museum in London.
They were removed from the Acropolis more than 200 years ago by British diplomat Thomas Bruce, the 7th Earl of Elgin, but pressure has been building on the Museum to return the sculptures following UNESCO requesting that the two sides enter mediation talks.
It's a matter close to Amal's husband's heart as well. Earlier in the year, while promoting The Monuments Men, George said of the sculptures: "I think you have a very good case to make about your artefacts.
"It would be a very fair and nice thing to do."
George and Amal married in a lavish Venetian ceremony late in September, and in a world exclusive, HELLO! magazine was delighted to present the first photos of the eagerly anticipated wedding between the Hollywood heart-throb and his beautiful wife.
The newlyweds shared the photos from their special day with HELLO! in conjunction with PEOPLE in the US. The stunning images were published in issue 1348."My verdict on being Mr and Mrs Clooney? It feels pretty damn great," George told HELLO!
Also featured in detail is the lavish reception which was attended by a host of A-listers including Matt Damon, Bill Murray, U2 singer Bono and George's best friend Rande Gerber and his model wife Cindy Crawford.
