Gregg Wallace has told how he met his fiancée Anne-Marie Sterpini, who's known as Anna, after they exchanged messages on Twitter about recipe ingredients. Speaking in an exclusive interview with HELLO! magazine, the Masterchef host revealed that after all three of his previous marriages ended in divorce, he hopes he has finally found all the right ingredients for love. The couple first made contact when Anna, 28, tweeted Gregg, 50, to ask him if rhubarb went with duck. "I just looked at Anna's photo and thought, 'Wow, she's pretty,'" he told HELLO! magazine. "So yes, rhubarb, which was considered an aphrodisiac in medieval times, brought us together."

Revealing details of his proposal to Anna, which took place in a private dining room overlooking St Paul's Cathedral, he said: "I told her we were meeting friends for dinner. As we walked in, the violinist struck up and I told her I loved her. "We were both in tears as I went down on one knee and presented her with a platinum diamond solitaire ring and asked her to marry me. She said yes, thank God. "I can't help thinking how lucky I am. I've never had anything or anyone like this before."
Gregg Wallace admitted that he and Anne-Marie Sterpini are big Winnie the Pooh fans
Gregg also told HELLO! how meeting Anna has changed him. "I've been portrayed as a womanizing football hooligan, but I don't recognize that person," he said. "Now I like to go home, cook with Anna and read history books. I also read to her in bed. We're big fans of Winnie the Pooh." The London-born host added that he and Anna are looking forward to starting a family. "I think she'll be pregnant by the time we return from the honeymoon," said Gregg. "Seriously, I'm looking forward to becoming a dad again. I've bought the complete collection of AA Milne and some rather cosy cardigans, so I'm ready." Anna, meanwhile, admitted that the 22-year age gap between the pair is "irrelevant". "I don't see Gregg as being older," she said. "I don't even think about it."
