Kristina Rihanoff has put an end to split reports by flying to Austria to support her partner Ben Cohen as he takes part in The Jump. The pregnant former Strictly Come Dancing star made an appearance on Sunday night's show and revealed that she and Ben did have romantic Valentine's Day plans, but had instead jumped on a plane so he could compete. Not that she minded: "I'm here now and really excited," she said. "I hope he does well. "Speaking shortly before Ben's first race, Kristina also told host Davina McCall she was worried about Ben hurting himself. "I don't wanna see him fall, I hope he's gonna do really well," she said.

Unfortunately, Kristina's fears came true a few moments later in the nail-biting live show when Ben went up against fellow newcomer Joe Swash in the parallel slalom race. Both men took a tumble and came crashing down the slope. The former rugby star managed to regain stability and beat Joe to the finish line – but because he had missed a gate, he still had to do the big air jump, in which he achieved the best distance of 9.42metres.
