Cher Lloyd has undergone a real-life Hollywood transformation. The 23-year-old, who has been living in America for the past two years, took to Instagram at the weekend to share glamorous new black and white photo with her fans.
The close-up image shows Cher with her brunette locks perfectly styled into waves as she poses for the camera in chunky grey knitwear. She bears more than a passing resemblance to her former X Factor mentor Cheryl – and her Instagram followers were quick to praise the pop star on her elegant new look. "You're absolutely beautiful Cher," wrote one, while another added: "She is my idol, literally."

Last month, Cher sent fans on social media into a frenzy when she appeared on Loose Women and unveiled her total style transformation. "Wow isn't Cher Lloyd the spit of @CherylOfficial. I don't know if it's on purpose or coincidence #LooseWomen," commented one viewer. "Can't believe how much Cher Lloyd looks like Cheryl, they could be sisters," a second added.
During her appearance on the show, Cher took the chance to clear up rumours that she and Cheryl had fallen out. "We made up ages ago," she told the panel. "I had gotten married and she tweeted me, and when she got married, I tweeted her.

"It would be nice to bump into her," she added. "There was never really an issue. But it was back when I was 16, this gob just ran away with it!"
She also spoke about her Hollywood-inspired look. "The main thing for me was experimenting," she said. "As a young girl, we've all made makeup mistakes, I'm sure. The difference between being 16-years-old to 23 – it's huge."
