They are a notoriously private couple who fell in love - behind-the-scenes - during the production of their upcoming movie, The Light Between Two Oceans. And in new interview, Michael Fassbender surprisingly touched on his romance with girlfriend Alicia Vikander, confessing he is "glad" it has happened.
"Is it hard for you when everyone wants to ask you about [Alicia]?" asked Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold on Wednesday, to which the Hollywood actor replied: "It's not really difficult. I just answer what I choose to answer and don't answer other things."

"It just happened, I'm glad it happened, and you know it is what it is," he concluded.
Michael, 39, and Alicia, 28, grew close whilst filming the romantic period drama in 2014. The two stars have been together ever since and made their debut as a couple at the Golden Globes in January this year.
The Light Between Oceans, based on the 2012 novel of the same name by M.L. Stedman, tells the story of a shell-shocked WWI veteran-turned-lighthouse keeper and his young wife, who is desperate to have a child after suffering two miscarriages. But one day, the married couple find a baby in an abandoned boat which mysteriously washes up on the shore.
"It just happened, I'm glad it happened," he confessed
Alicia recently opened up about the process of working with 12 Years A Slave actor Michael, and explained how the experience brought them together. "He was very sweet at letting me in," the Swedish star previously told Vanity Fair. "He was like, 'Can you please give me a note? What do you think I should do?'"
