With just nine days to go before Pippa Middleton and James Matthews say "I do", the couple's family and friends are making last-minute preparations. James' brother Spencer Matthews and their mother Jane were pictured going on a shopping spree in Harrods, where Jane left with a very large Christian Louboutin bag. The mother-of-the-groom cut a chic figure in photos obtained by the Mail Online, wearing skinny jeans, a quilted jacket and a green blouse. Spencer, 27, was his usual fashion-forward self in navy chinos, a white T-shirt and quilted jacket.
James and Pippa will marry on Saturday 20 May at St Mark's Church in Englefield, Berkshire. Spencer has reportedly been chosen to be his brother's best man, but despite his starring role, he is rumoured to be attending solo, without his new girlfriend Vogue Williams. The pair have been dating for a couple of months, having met on The Jump back in December.

Meanwhile, preparations are fully underway for the high-society wedding of the year. Earlier this week Pippa, 33, was pictured at the church where she will marry, with her parents Carole and Michael Middleton. The bride-to-be was spotted pulling up to the church in a Range Rover, looking casual in jeans, a jacket and snakeskin-printed shoes. As they walked around the church and inside, Pippa's father Michael was seen clutching what appeared to be an itinerary and a detailed seating plan.

Around 30 guests will apparently be seated in the vestry of the small Grade I-listed country church, and witness the ceremony via a screen, according to Mail Online. The report also went on to say that Michael, 67, helped arrange cars outside the church, using Pippa and Carole's Range Rovers to replicate what might happen on the day. During the visit, the Middletons were believed to be joined by wedding planners Fait Accompli, the Chelsea-based events planner.
