The countdown is on for Capital's 2018 Summertime Ball, which is guaranteed to be a spectacular showstopper of an event. A host of chart-topping artists from Craig David and Sean Paul to Jonas Blue, Shawn Mendes and Charlie Puth will perform at Wembley Stadium this Saturday, June 9th. Over 80,000 Capital listeners will pile into the venue to watch the afternoon-long musical extravaganza which has seen the likes of Little Mix (9 times!), Cheryl and Liam Payne perform in the past. Here's everything you need to know about the event.

Tickets for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Vodafone have sold out so the only way in is to win - listen to Capital for your chance to see this summer’s hottest artists live!

How can I tune into the Summertime Ball? 

Capital will be bringing fans all the action from the UK’s hottest summer party on air, on TV and online. From 6am on Saturday, Capital will broadcast live from Wembley Stadium across the UK, with the stations biggest stars including Roman Kemp and Marvin Humes will have all the action including interviews with the performers and a host of  backstage gossip. You can also watch the performances on Capital TV and watch the livestream on Capitalfm.com.

The event at Wembley Stadium is always a truly enormous production. Celebrity dressing room requests last year included a call for 70% dark chocolate with gold leaf, an in-house tattoo artist, a roll of bubble wrap and 10 just ripe avocados! Literally hundreds of stylists and hair and make-up artists are on hand each year to make sure that the performers and presenters are looking their best.
