Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello spotted kissing at Coachella 18 months after split

Shawn Mendes and ex-girlfriend Camila Cabello reunited on Friday April 17 at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California - and sparked rumors they're relationship was back on again after being caught on camera kissing.

The former lovers were spotted spending time with each other, and a short video captured by a fan saw them cuddling and watching one of the Friday night performers. Camila couldn't keep the smile off her face as she peered up pat shawn who leaned in for a kiss. They were also seen engaging in a conversation while surrounded by friends.

Shawn, 24 wore a graphic T-shirt and pants and had the Coachella-required bandana wrapped around his neck. Camila, 26, rocked denim pants and a white crop top, and had her long brunette hair loose.

The two split in 2021 after a two-year romance. They had been friends for years prior, and collaborated on the hit 2019 track 'Senorita'. 

That September, Shawn broke his silence at a fan Q&A session after he was asked: "You've said you've never been in love. Has that changed recently?" Shawn replied by saying: "Honestly, I wanna say I wanna talk to you guys about this stuff but it’s not just me in the relationship! There’s another person involved. I can’t say things that I feel... It’s not just me deciding, you know?"

In September 2021 they attended the Met Gala together, and Vogue shared a "Get Ready for the Met Gala" video with the pair that captured their sweet interactions between the couple, including their FaceTime call, and meeting up with Hailey and Justin Bieber ahead of stepping out on the red carpet.

However in November 2021, the two announced their split on Instagram through a joint statement.

"Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever," the statement read. "We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward."
