Alex Jones appears to be relishing spending quality time with her adorable brood – and on Tuesday, the star shared a glimpse inside her trip to Bruges.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the 46-year-old BBC presenter shared a handful of sweet snippets including a candid clip of all three of her children exploring the Belgian city with their father Charlie Thomson.
The couple's eldest son Teddy, five, looked every inch the doting big brother as he held little Annie's hand and guided her around the cobbled streets. Youngest Annie looked particularly adorable dressed in a pair of butter yellow trousers and a plum-hued cardigan.
She resembled her famous mother with her brunette ringlets swishing around her shoulders.
Kit, three, meanwhile, looked precious on his father's shoulders wearing a pair of blue camo trousers. How sweet!
Elsewhere on her Instagram Stories, Alex posted a sweet clip of Teddy feeding a group of ducks. The youngster looked so precious as he gently tossed some feed into the river with his back turned towards the camera.
In order to protect her adorable brood's privacy, Alex made sure to hide her children's faces in all her social media updates.
While the Welsh TV star regularly shares heartwarming updates, shining a light on her family highlights, Alex isn't afraid to talk about her parenting struggles.
During a candid chat with HELLO! magazine, she revealed: "Balancing the three of them with a full-time job, as any mother will tell you, is, on some days, insurmountable. It's so huge."
She went on to say: "But I think what you get back from it, and they can be rare moments, when you think, 'They all make me laugh, and they're all getting on really well,' it's worth it. And they won't be this young forever."
Alex and her husband Charlie welcomed their youngest back in August 2021. At the time of Annie's birth, the former Strictly Come Dancing presenter penned: "We have some news... Our beautiful daughter came safely into the world on Saturday afternoon 21.08.21.
"Tiny, but perfectly formed, we are all beyond happy and besotted by her, especially Ted and Kit. Watching them with their brand-new little sister is just the best and we can't believe how lucky we are to have the 3 of them and to be a family of 5. It still doesn't feel real!!!"
Little Annie reportedly came as a "complete surprise." During a chat with The Mirror, Alex explained: "In the back of my mind, and this is a bit of a secret, I always wanted three kids but I thought, 'Oh Alex, don't be silly – you have left it too late'.
"So Annie was the most fantastic and welcome surprise because so many friends and colleagues have been through the mill. It hasn't been the most straightforward for us along the way, but we got there in the end."
