Ryan Reynolds and his brother Terry Reynolds will always be looking out for each other, even when they don't realize it!

The universe treated the two to a happy coincidence this week, when they inadvertently bumped into each other while walking around New York City.

The Deadpool actor, 47, grew up in Vancouver, Canada, and is the youngest of four brothers, Patrick, 73, Jeff, 67, and Terry, 53.

His older brother Terry took to Instagram Tuesday and shared a sweet sibling selfie with Ryan, where they are both smiling ear-to-ear after they coincidentally bumped into each other while walking around the Madison Square Park, Flatiron area.

Plus, not only did their meeting come about randomly, they were even both wearing the exact same navy blue Wrexham FC cap, repping the English soccer team Ryan famously co-owns with Rob McElhenney.

"I'm not sure what the odds are of running into your own brother while doing separate things in NY for the day," Terry wrote in his caption, adding: "8.5 million people and we practically collided."

Ryan then re-posted the snap to his Instagram Story, and wrote: "8.5 million people in NYC. Ran smack into my brother out of nowhere," before joking: "He was even wearing his Ryan Reynolds costume. WTF."

Ryan's fans were quick to take to the comments section under Terry's post and gush about the happy sibling coincidence, with one fan noting: "What are the odds of running into your brother and wearing the same exact hat is the real question," as others followed suit with: "It's the Canadian way. Always find someone you know no matter where you travel," and: "This is brilliant. Sometimes the world just delivers a wee bit of magic," as well as: "And wearing the same hat!! Double those odds!!"

Ryan previously gave insight into the chaotic energy of a house with all boys, when he joked that because he was raised with brothers, he was more than fine sharing all girls with wife Blake Lively.

Speaking on the Today Show ahead of welcoming his fourth child with Blake – the two share daughters James, eight, Inez, seven, and Betty, four, plus the fourth child whose name or sex has yet to be revealed, born in February – the dad-of-four explained why he was ready to welcome yet another girl.

He said: "I know girls, so I'm sort of, kind of hoping for that?" before adding: "But I'm ready for whatever happens."

Still, after host Hoda Kotb pointed out his family of all boys, he confessed: "All brothers, which is why I speak from experience, when, you know, I love my well-being and my home. I was the youngest of four and we were just arsonists and firemen."
