Kaley Cuoco may have become a mom to daughter Matilda earlier in 2023 but she has been a dog mom for over a decade – and has now launched a new petcare brand, Oh Norman!, named after her beloved, late dog Norman.
"My beloved, hilarious dog Norman’s unconditional love inspired me to create this company” the Big Bang Theory actress said in a statement announcing the launch of the products.
The first limited-edition capsule collection includes two liquid supplements, 'Oh Norman! Stop Effing Itching' and 'Calm the Eff Down!' (both $35), dog bowls that read 'Bone Appetite', dog placemats, and matching human and dog sweatshirts.
The products are all ethically sourced and clean products, and it is thought she will begin to roll out more product collections throughout the year.
"As a pet parent, I wanted our products to be safe, sustainably-made, and beautifully designed to support and celebrate our best friends and the joy they bring us. By creating products with them and the planet in mind, I know we can give them the best, because they deserve the best," Kaley added.
"Oh Norman, this one’s for you. Our first product drop is now LIVE at @ohnorman. Each drop is eco-friendly and ethically-manufactured, but also limited edition so get it while it’s hot. My favorite part? A portion of every sale goes directly to rescuing dogs just like Norman," Kaley shared on Instagram.
"Personally I’m obsessed with what we’ve created and I've ordered everything in multiples, lol. Can’t wait to hear what you and your dog think of our new company. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support!!"
Norman was her first rescue dog and he passed away in 2021 at the age of 14. Kaley now lives at home with daughter Matilda, partner Tom Pelphrey and their four rescue dogs: Ruby, Opal, King, and Blue.
"Earth shattering deep gut wrenching pain I didn't know was possible. Norman, you were my entire world for 14 years," she posted on Instagram, sharing news of his passing.
"Thank you for smiling at me as you left this world, confirming once again our language was ours alone. You will always have my heart."
In January 2022, on the year anniversary of his death, she took to social media to share an emotional tribute alongside a picture of her with the four-legged friend.
"Norman, can't believe you have been gone a year. I'll truly miss you forever. 'A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves forever," she wrote.
The actress has also named her production company after him, Yes, Norman Productions.
