Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig are one of the most private couples in Hollywood - rarely making public appearances together or speaking out about their relationship - and now we know why. The actress, who tied the knot with the James Bond star in June 2011, said she wants to "protect" their relationship from the public eye.
"He's just too famous. It would be a betrayal. You have to protect your marriage," Rachel told MORE magazine. "When you're young, you tell your girlfriends everything. One of the great pleasures of not being an adolescent is that you don't have to share everything. When you're married, that door closes. The audience goes, and you're in your own life."

Rachel and Daniel surprised fans around the world when they tied the knot in 2011 in a private ceremony only attended by his daughter and her son. While the couple tend to fly under the radar and lead a low profile life away from Hollywood, they did put on a rare public display of affection at the Spectre world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall in October.
Looking breath-taking in a floral Alexander McQueen gown, the 45-year-old cuddled up to her husband from behind while smiling proudly. The James Bond star in turn gave his real-life leading lady a tender kiss in the presence of Prince Harry, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.

While Rachel is reluctant to give too much away about her personal life with the handsome actor, she did give a small insight into their home life during an interview with The Mirror in June, revealing that they enjoy cooking together.
"I love to cook," Rachel said. "Daniel is also very good at it. We always enjoy trying out different kinds of cuisine and having fun with that."
