"It's a little strange. I'm nervous because I know 12 and 13 and 14 and 15 are going to be really scary," she admitted.

"I'm going to be like, 'Mum please come to the house and help me out!' But no, it's a great age. They are still babies."

She also opened up with how happy she is to be single following the end of her relationship with film and TV producer Charlie Ebersol, saying: "I am in a really good place right now. I am loving and learning about myself every day and learning who I am.

"It's awakening, it's cool. It’s okay to be single — it totally is."

Britney has said that "the best relationship [she] ever had" is with her sons

While on the ITV talk show, Britney chatted about the difficulties she faced in her twenties. She said: "I like my thirties way more than my twenties. My twenties were horrible. My teens were fun. But I like my thirties — my thirties are great. You know who you really are."

Her two sons recently pranked their mother after stealing her phone and proceeding to make her jump while filming her hilarious reaction. The 34-year-old screamed and fell to the floor in surprise, shouting Sean's middle name "Preston" in anger.

However, the Toxic singer eventually saw the funny side to their prank, sharing the video to her 13.2million while fondly chastising their antics.

The star has called her relationship with her two sons "the best…I've ever said," telling Marie Claire: "My boys don't care if everything isn't perfect, they don't judge me. If anything, when I'm all dressed up they aren't happy because it usually means I'm going to work."
