Louise Redknapp has won a new legion of fans thanks to her performances on Strictly Come Dancing over the past few weeks. However it is not only her dance routines that are getting viewers talking, but her youthful looks too.

Many long-term fans of the singer have noticed that Louise looks just as fresh-faced and naturally youthful as she did when she first found fame as a member of Eternal almost 25 years ago.

Louise was a teenager when she joined Eternal

The London-born star was just 16 when she joined the girl group alongside Kéllé Bryan and sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett. The group were a huge success in the UK, but it was when Louise left the band to launch a solo career that she became a household name.

Louise (whose surname was then Nurding) had a number of top ten singles and albums in the late 1990s, and was a hit with lads' magazines, with FHM naming her the Sexiest Woman of the Decade in 2004.

While 20 years have passed since the singer initially launched her solo career, Louise, now 41, doesn't look much older. She still has her same glossy locks and natural beauty from the nineties, and she credits a simple beauty routine to her healthy glow.

"I'm pretty simple, I don't believe you need really expensive creams," Louise told HELLO! Fashion earlier this year. "I believe in taking care of your skin, always cleansing and using a good toner. I'm also a big believer in taking your make-up off at night – just the little things to look after your skin."

Louise has her own cosmetics line

The Wild About Beauty co-founder also admitted she launched her own cosmetics line after having "plenty of mishaps" with make-up throughout her career.

"One of the reasons I wanted to come up with my own make-up range is because of getting in the car for the school run at 7.30am and looking in the mirror to see you've got glittery bronze cheeks," Louise admitted. "You think, 'It's 7.30 in the morning and I've got glitter on my cheeks like a teenager'. So one of the first things I wrote down when we were devising our own range was a really nice bronzer with no glitter in it."
