Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have finalised their divorce,TMZ has confirmed. The former couple, who split in October 2015 after two years of marriage, will reportedly share physical and legal custody of their only child together, three-year-old son Maceo.
In the legal papers, Olivier, 50, has agreed to allow Hollywood star Halle, also 50, to declare that she left him first. Under California law, only one person can be the petitioner in a divorce. It's been over a year since the pair filed for the divorce in October 2015.
At the time, the pair announced their separation with a "heavy heart" in a joint statement, adding: "We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son."

Shortly after the news of the split was announced, Halle claimed she was "doing okay". She told Extra: "I'm doing okay, I really am. I keep pushing and I'm really happy to be here. Because when you're going through anything in life, when you step outside yourself and focus on others, that's always the best remedy for any situation that you'd rather not be dealing with."
The Oscar-winning star first met Olivier on the set of Dark Tides in 2010, and the French actor proposed two years later with an emerald engagement ring. The couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding in France the following year when the actress was six months pregnant with their son. Halle also has daughter Nahla from her relationship with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.
