Gail Porter has been declared bankrupt at London's High Court after being unable to pay her debts. The 45-year-old star has reportedly faced huge stress while struggling to resolve her financial situation, but has eventually ended up in bankruptcy.
"It's been a really rough few years for Gail and this is another devastating blow," a source told the Daily Mail. "She did everything she could to stop this from happening, but in the end the debt became too large and she simply could not cope.

"It was proving horrifically stressful and has caused her several sleepless nights. Gail is determine to make the best of a bad situation though, and start afresh."
It's a big setback for the resilient mum-of-one, who developed alopecia in 2005 and battled anorexia as a result of her low self-esteem.
Last year, Gail decided to undergo a life-changing breast reduction, and as she made her first post-operation appearance on Loose Women, admitted she had struggled with body confidence from a young age.

"I was the first person at school to get boobs, first person at school to have a period, first person at school to have a moustache. I felt like I had three heads, I was like, 'Hello, I'm up here…'" she said.
Of her anorexia battle, the star added: "I started dieting because I wanted to get rid of the breasts, because I was so conscious of them, and then it went from everywhere else.
"And anorexia is a mental thing as well, so I got it into my head that I constantly wanted to diet, and then these breasts weren't going away, and I remember ending up in hospital because I was so tiny, and the doctor said to me, 'God, you’ve got really big boobs for someone with anorexia', and that was it, it just got even worse."
