Gordon Ramsay currently holds 14 Michelin stars across his empire of restaurants, and the famous chef has just opened the newest addition to his Bread Street Kitchen chain in Dubai. The chef, who is as famous for his talent as his temperament in the kitchen, already has sites in London, Hong Kong and Singapore and has chosen the majestic five-star hotel Atlantis, The Palm, as the home of his new venture.
We talk to Gordon about why he chose the lavish Atlantis, found on Dubai's man-made, tree-shaped mega-island Palm Jumeirah – where Mark and Michelle Wright recently honeymooned and where Kim Kardashian stayed earlier this year – and why Dubai has captured his imagination.
