Calvin Klein poster boy and fit footballer Freddie Ljungberg is a tough act to follow, but it seems the clothes giant has struck gold with their latest signing. Turning to the world of sport once again, the company has unveiled hunky 18-year-old Parker Shinn as the face of their new mens' underwear line.
Parker has ample qualifications to take up the post. Not only is the San Diego-born model the possessor of a seductive, tousled-haired beauty, he is also an accomplished yachtsman, who has made his mark on the sport's youth circuit after wins in some of its biggest races.
Fans of sculpted Swedish footballer Freddie needn't fear he's gone into retirement. His contract has been extended, while Californian Parker is to represent a new collection, "Calvin Klein 365".
The model already has some important campaigns under his belt, having worked with Top Man and CK jeans. Despite his success, the blonde surf fan never expected to make it big in fashion as his sights were always set on sporting heroics. "I definitely want to try for the Olympics and the America's Cup," he says.
