After the hugely successful UK launch of her TopShop clothing range earlier this month - which saw shoppers queuing in the streets to snap up a piece of her famous style - Kate Moss has begun her assault on America. The mum-of-one was in New York this week to promote her designs in upscale department store Barneys, accompanied by TopShop head honcho Sir Philip Green. The store has dedicated its windows to the collection, complete with cut-out images of the famous covergirl.
In homage to her roots staff in British guardsman uniforms were posted at the establishment's front doors as the city got in Anglomania mode. Recently named one of the world's 100 most influential people, Kate is renowned as a fashion leader across the globe and the buzz surrounding her shows no signs of abating.
In addition to the high-profile launch, the Croydon-born stunner did a little promotion of her own - stepping out the previous evening to the glamorous Costume Institute Gala in one of her own high street designs. While the price tag on her frilly black dress wasn't couture, she did succumb to some expensive accessories, though, sparkling in diamond jewellery.
