Thousands of our readers have picked Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd in preference to a roll-call of bigger stars as Nicole Kidman's ideal partner.
The Hornblower actor took the top spot in the hellomagazine.com online poll, beating Lord Of The Rings star Viggo Mortensen into second place. Keanu Reeves came third, with 12 per cent of the vote, while Adrien Brody had to settle for fourth.
Not many would envisage Nicole getting together with the inimitable Hugh Grant, who received only ten per cent. And his fellow Englishman Clive Owen came last with just eight per cent, despite winning Angelina Jolie's heart in the movie Beyond Borders.
Nicole has complained that she can't seem to find the right man. Her romance with rock star Lenny Kravitz came to an end a few months ago, with the actress telling reporters: "I am a woman by myself."
But the 36-year-old's professional life is going from strength to strength. And her deal to advertise Chanel No 5 is thought to be the most lucrative in advertising history. The Oscar winner received £2 million for the four-minute clip, which will be hitting cinema screens soon.
