Thirteen of Tinseltown's most beautiful actresses, ranging in age from 19 to 43, have become the ultimate cover girls, starring together in a glamorous ensemble photograph snapped by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The outstanding roster of stylish stars, who grace the front cover of the March issue of Vanity Fair, includes a trio of Academy Award winners (Jennifer Connelly, Gwyneth Paltrow and Hillary Swank), four Oscar nominees (Julianne Moore, Salma Hayek, Naomi Watts and Diane Lane ) and a pair of sizzling TV crossovers (Lucy Liu and Jennifer Aniston) making a splash on the big screen. Red hot starlets are led by Kirsten Dunst, who joins Big Fish's Alison Lohman, Mona Lisa Smile's Maggie Gyllenhaal and the year's standout up-and-comer – and the only teenager in the layout – Scarlett Johansson.
Despite so much star power in one room, the shoot was apparently more like a family affair than a gathering of Hollywood divas. A Beautiful Mind beauty Jennifer brought baby son Stellan, while Frida star Salma had her mum along with her to help choose an outfit.
And Gwyneth, who would days later announce her pregnancy and wedding to Chris Martin, showed up wearing a platinum and diamond ring engraved with "G", "C" and "2003". And, donning a snug-fitting Narciso Rodriguez creation, she foreshadowed her expectant status, remarking: "I'm not normally this voluptuous."
