House-hunting Keira's savvy street style

As one of Hollywood's hottest properties British actress Keira Knightley is no stranger to the red carpet, where she never fails to dazzle in fabulous Tinseltown-style gowns. But this week the Pride And Prejudice star showed she's also got her finger on the pulse when it comes to savvy streetwear.

House hunting in the British capital, 20-year-old Keira, who was recently named Personality Of The Year at the British Independent Film Awards, was spot on in a sharply tailored, flared-back jacket teamed with an oversize stocking cap and stripy scarf.

And although the stunning actress insists she likes neither her legs nor her bottom - about which she is so insecure that she insisted on a body double for a recent film – she had obviously put aside such doubts in order to don two of this season's "must haves", pinstripe shorts worn with knee-high boots.

Keira, who currently shares her London base with a flatmate, has been out of the country for much of 2005 filming new additions to the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, but is due to work closer to home next year. Her next movie Silk is a love story about Herve Joncour, a French silkworm merchant who travels to Japan, leaving his wife, played by Keira, behind in France.

The actress' days in the tropics are not completely over, however, as she'll be heading back to the Caribbean for a couple of months at the tail end of 2006 to lens more scenes from the third instalment of Pirates.
