As he took to the red carpet for the premiere of his new movie, it would seem chart-topper Justin Timberlake has come up trumps with his latest venture. The versatile talent has been winning praise from co-stars for his portrayal of a buff, tattooed member of a Californian drug gang in the movie Alpha Dog.
"He brings in an amazing performance," says co-star Ben Foster. "He is a movie star. I'm a huge fan now. I was not expecting a pop star to come in and give such a heartfelt performance," he reveals, adding: "Justin is going to be around for a very long time, and I look forward to seeing his movies."
The film, inspired by the real-life kidnapping and murder of a Southern California teenager, puts Justin on the screen with some of Tinseltown's biggest stars, including action man Bruce Willis, Sharon Stone and Lolita star Dominique Swain.
"Justin Timberlake is terrific in this film," enthuses Bruce, quipping: "I told him it’s time to stop singing."
