Although the point of Love Island is to spend the summer in a villa, meet beautiful people and fall in love, in reality most of our favourite islander couples don't tend to last the test of time, no matter how much we want them to.
More recently, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury confirmed the surprising news that they were parting ways after dating for five years. "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this," Molly-Mae wrote. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end," Molly-Mae shared in a statement.
However, there is the occasional couple who break the villa curse and actually stay together! Check out the Love Island contestants who haven't had their heads turned and are still coupled up to this day…
Josh Oyinsan and Mimii Ngulube (2024 series)
It should be no surprise that recent champions Josh and Mimii, who were only crowned last month, are still together.
Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel (2024 series)
Ciaran and Nicole are another pair of finalists who are going from strength to strength in their relationship. The pair even recently confirmed that Ciaran had moved in with Nicole. How sweet!
Matilda Draper and Sean Stone (2024 series)
Although their Love Island journey came with plenty of ups and downs, the pair, who finished in third place, are still seeing each other, with Matilda sharing snaps of their dates in Beckenham.
Ayo Odukoya and Jess Spencer (2024 series)
Although they only walked away in fourth place, Ayo and Jess are certainly still seeing each other, with Jess sharing a series of posts to mark Ayo's birthday earlier in the month.
Joey Essex and Jessy Potts (2024 series)
All eyes were on Joey Essex when he entered the Love Island villa, and although he didn't make the final with Jessy, it appears the pair are still an item. Splir rumours have been fuelled with Joey not showing up to a wrap party, but Jessy put rumours to bed earlier in the week, sharing a loved-up snap of the pair.
Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan (2023 series)
Champions Kai and Sanam well and truly did find love in the villa and back in April the loved-up couple revealed that they were engaged! The couple wore matching white outfits as Kai popped the question on a row boat. "Introducing the next Mrs Fagan. Beautiful, Caring, Loving and Smart are just some of the words that describe you," Kai sweetly wrote. "I love loving you, I love you and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
Lochan Nowacki and Whitney Adebayo (2023 series)
Despite some rumours that Lochan and Whitney had decided to separate ways, Whitney confirmed earlier this week that the pair were still going strong, and were marking their one-year anniversary. Whitney said: "To living, loving, healing, learning and growing with you, happy anniversary."
Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble (2023 series)
Despite having split after their time in the villa, Molly and Zachariah have since gotten back together and are still going strong. The pair have even hit quite the milestone in their relationship as they're renovating a home together!
Tasha Ghouri and Andrew la Page (2022 series)
2022 finalists Andrew La Page and Tasha Ghouri had their fair share of ups and downs, but they seem to still be the picture of romantic bliss. The pair are often seen on each other's social media enjoying cute date nights and days out together. Andrew even recently called Tasha his soulmate – aw!
Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope (2022 series)
Indiyah Polak and Dami Hope are certainly a fan favourite couple from the ITV dating show. The pair got together while in the Majorcan villa and, apart from a brief break-up after Casa Amor, they have gone from strength to strength. Dami and Indiyah have even gone a step further and moved in together!
Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde (2016 series)
Nathan and Cara won the 2016 series, and the pair are still going strong to this day! After getting engaged in 2018, the couple tied the knot in Kent a year later. Prior to their stunning wedding ceremony at Preston Court Barn in Canterbury, the Love Island winners had already welcomed a son, Freddie-George in December 2017. They eventually added to their adorable brood, with daughter Delilah born in July 2020.
Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland (2016 series)
They might not have won, but they certainly won each other's hearts! Olivia and Alex fell head over heels after meeting in the villa in 2016 and tied the knot back in 2018. Fast forward to 2023, and the couple have now welcomed their first child together. In June 2022, Olivia shared the first photo of their new bundle of joy with the family posing together in an Instagram post. "You are everything. 10/06/22," she captioned the photo showing the baby boy that they have named their baby boy Abel Jacob Bowen.
Jessica Shears and Dom Lever (2017 series)
Jessica and Dom met in the villa back in 2017 and have since married and welcomed children together. They tied the knot in 2018 during a small ceremony in Mykonos. Their first child, a boy named Presley, was born in 2019 and they became a family of four with the arrival of a second baby boy in 2022.
Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt (2017 series)
This one warms our hearts! After struggling to connect with anyone in the villa, former explosive ordnance disposal specialist Camilla finally met her Prince Charming when Jamie walked through the door. Six years after leaving the villa together, the pair have not only gotten hitched but welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Nell. They then tied the knot in 2021 and announced in 2022 that they had become proud parents to another daughter named Nora. The couple became parents again in May 2024 with the arrival of son Brodi
