Julia Wendell, a Polish woman who believed that she could be the missing British teenager, has received her DNA test results - and they have confirmed that she is not Kate and Gerry McCann’s daughter.
Speaking to Radar Online, her representative Dr Fia Johansson told the publication that the DNA results showed that she is from Poland with Lithuanian and Romanian heritage and that she is the biological daughter of her mother.
Fia said: "She is absolutely 100 per cent from Poland. She is a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian but the test results show she is Polish."
She added that she had a "gut feeling" that the 21-year-old was not the real Maddie, but explained: "We learned a few things, one being that Julia’s mum is now believed to be her mum, so she is not Madeleine McCann. They’re not 100% but they believe that Julia’s mum is in fact her mum. They’re questioning her father’s side. They’re checking into that, that’s part of what they’re doing with the DNA.
"But Julia’s mum is in fact her mum is what they’re believing and she is not in fact Madeleine McCann… Julia had all the birthmarks as Madeleine McCann which I believe is God and the universe’s way of wanting us to get close to the man who sexually abused her, expose him, and his possible ties to the McCann case."

Julia’s family previously released a statement claiming that Julia was indeed their biological child via a Polish Missing Persons charity, Zaginieni przed laty.
Translated, the statement reads: "For us, as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and step-niece. We have memories, we have pictures. Julia also has these photos, because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate, as well as numerous hospital discharges."
They added: “Julia once wanted to be a singer, a model. She always wanted to be popular. What's happening now is she [has] 1 million followers… We are devastated at this current situation."
