Gisele Bundchen has made her debut as the face of Chanel's latest make-up range, Les Beiges. As part of the campaign, the French fashion house has released a short film starring the Brazilian beauty. Showing off her natural radiance, the supermodel wears Chanel's Healthy Glow Sheer Powder, a bronzer developed to mimic the radiant look from a day spent outdoors.
Shot by Mario Testino, Gisele is seen applying the pressed powder before taking a walk down the street as she smiles broadly. "Natural is a style," Chanel says. Les Beiges bronzer is "simple and intuitive." Designed to give a fresh, natural and healthy look, Les Beiges focuses on enhancing an utterly flawless complexion. With sun-kissed skin and those enviably high cheekbones, the 32-year-old already has us gripped looking with her stunning appearance in Chanel's first photos just a couple months after giving birth to her second child, Vivian. Talking about their reasons for signing up the famous model, Chanel said: "She's modern, independent and positive. She is also a nature lover who has a healthy lifestyle and enjoys the great outdoors.
"She is at one with herself and perfectly represents the values of this line: natural beauty, simplicity, freedom and a healthy glow." Gisele gave birth to her daughter Vivian Lake just three months ago, but this campaign was shot in Spring 2012. A mum-of-two, it's a wonder how the former Victoria's Secret Angel model has the time to fit another project into her busy beauty schedule. Having previously starred in a Max Factor makeup campaign and landing a contract as The One for Dolce & Gabbana's fragrance, this new venture marks Gisele's first time as a face of Chanel. She's already the world's top-earning supermodel thanks to property investments and a lifelong career dedicated to advertorial campaigns and editorial shoots. And now Gisele's new contract with Chanel - estimated at an impressive sum of four million dollars - is yet another boost to her impressive career, helping the mum-of-two well on her way to becoming the modelling world's first billionaire.
