Huge congratulations to Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh. The couple have welcomed triplets, a representative for the musician confirmed to Vanity Fair. The babies, who were born in early January, are said to be "healthy and happy". The new additions are younger siblings to Pharrell and Helen's first child, eight-year-old son Rocket. News of the pregnancy was announced in September after Helen was spotted with a baby bump during an appearance at a dinner party, hosted by Chanel in Los Angeles. At the time, E! News reported that the pair have been "wanting another child for a while".
The American music producer, 43, has previously spoken about how fatherhood has changed his life and even wrote Despicable Me song Rocket's Theme for his little boy. Discussing his son's unusual choice of name, the Blurred Lines singer told Oprah Winfrey: "In the same way the Indians named their children after a force or animal or element, we named him after a man-made machine that was meant to go up, meant to ascend. Metaphorically, it was because of, you know, Stevie Wonder's Rocket Love, Elton John's Rocket Man and Herbie Hancock's Rocket. All of my favourite musicians. And his middle name is not Man. It's Ayer after Roy Ayers."

Pharrell and his fashion model partner, 36, dated for several years before they tied the knot in 2013. And while they keep their personal lives private, the Happy hitmaker has previously opened up about their relationship, revealing it didn't have the most conventional of beginnings. "She didn't answer half of my text messages [at first]," he said. "I was like, 'Oh yeah?' because I had that kind of money and because I had that kind of reach, I thought I was entitled and I had learned that no, she has a boyfriend and she's not interested."

The couple were just friends for over two years before Helen became single and they started their romance. According to the star, his own actions almost cost him the relationship. He explained: "I hurt her a lot in the very beginning once she was free and was available, because I had given her all of this attention but I wasn't ready to like, let go. I looked at my life and I was like, 'Man, I could keep doing this for another 10 years, is that what I want to do?' And so I made a decision. And then we made a decision and just started dating."
