Who is Kris Jenner?
Kris Jenner is an American media personality, socialite, and businesswoman who rose to fame on the famous reality TV show Keeping Up with The Kardashians. The Kardashian matriarch was born Kristen Houghton in San Diego, California in 1955.
She has four children from her first marriage to lawyer Robert Kardashian: Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Robert Kardashian, and two children from her second marriage to retired Olympian Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce): Kendall and Kylie Jenner. She has 12 grandchildren in total.
Kris Jenner's Career
After pitching the idea of Keeping Up With The Kardashians to Ryan Seacrest in 2007, the reality series which followed the family throughout their daily lives was commissioned, and premiered on the E! channel in October that same year. It ran for 20 seasons, shooting the Kardashian-Jenner clan to international stardom. Kris was the executive producer of the show.
She takes on the same role for their latest Hulu show, The Kardashians. Her most famous role though, is as 'momager' (mum and manager) to her famous children.
Kris Jenner's relationships
In 1978 she married lawyer Robert Kardashian and the couple had four children: Kim, Kourtney, Khloé and Robert Jr. In 1989 Robert filed for divorce after Kris had an affair. He died of cancer in 2003.
The California girl's second marriage to Caitlyn Jenner in 1991 gave her two more daughters, Kendall and Kylie. He also brought children of his own to the union, making Kris a stepmother of four. After 22 years together, Kris and Caitlyn announced their separation in 2013 with a statement reading: "We will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority".
Since 2014, Kris has been in a relationship with business executive and talent manager Corey Gambler, who is 25 years her junior.
