Three weeks after she made her way into the world on 2 May, Prince Harry has reportedly met his niece Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. Twitter user Jake Cottrell spotted the 30-year-old British royal near Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk on Friday, where he was introduced to William and Kate's baby girl. "I have just seen Prince Harry driving through Brandon in the nicest Range Rover I've ever seen" he tweeted, while the Mirror reported on Sunday that "royal insiders last night confirmed the visit. "Harry was delayed meeting the newest addition to the royal family due to his four-week attachment with the Australian Defence Force, followed by a tour of New Zealand.

Even when he had touched down back on British soil, the Prince had two days of engagements at the Chelsea Flower Show in London to undertake – although there's no doubt that when he finally met Charlotte of Friday, it had been worth the wait.While he was out of the country when Charlotte arrived, the little girl has been in Harry's thoughts.The day after she was born, Harry revealed that he had been sent a photo of the litte Princess, saying that she was "absolutely beautiful" and that he couldn't wait to meet her.

During his travels, Harry picked up a number of presents for his niece and nephew Prince George.At an engagement at University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand, Harry was given a sweet children's book for Charlotte and an pair of Wellington boots for George. Several days earlier he had received a cuddly toy and a babygro in the colours of New Zealand’s top Rugby Union team the Wellington Hurricanes for his newborn niece.

Harry also accepted some more handmade gifts for Charlotte, including a letter for from a nine-year-old royal fan."I gave him a card for Princess Charlotte," Rakaia Burwell-Garratt told the BBC on the first day of Harry's tour. "I wrote in it, I hope you like being a princess and happy birthday for your first week.'"Harry then put the envelope into his suit pocket for safe keeping and told Rakaia: "I won't open it, I'll keep it safe and I'll make sure she gets it."
