Prince Albert of Monaco has opened up about his "very loving" mother Grace Kelly, and the values she and his father Prince Rainier instilled in him as a child. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the new father said he finds it "rewarding" to see the legacy she has left following her untimely death in 1982.
When asked how he remembered his mum, Prince Albert told CNBC that first and foremost he saw her as a "very caring and very loving mother".

He added: "The way I see still today how she touched so many people's lives around the world. People that she met of course, even people that she didn't meet. Even younger generation that have learnt to know about her and discover what she was on about.
"I think that's always incredibly rewarding to see and it touches people in a very meaningful way, and that she had that spirit, that she had that heart and generosity".
The 56-year-old continued to praise his mother, saying: "Well I know that we are all better people for having her in our lives."
Prince Albert said his parents set a "tremendous example" to him and his sisters
Prince Albert also took time to discuss what his late parents taught him as a child, and says they set a "tremendous example" that he tries to follow every day.
"The common human values of you know, trying to care for other people and trying to cater to people's needs and to listen also to what people's, not only thoughts are, problems are but also what their hopes are.
"And that's what I try to do every day and I think the amount of generosity, heart and spirit that my parents showed is a tremendous example.
"Not only for my sisters and myself but for the entire family, but also hopefully for many people in Monaco, and beyond our borders."
