To celebrate Princess Charlotte's first birthday, we take a look back at her life so far!
Taken shortly after her birth on 2 May 2015, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are the picture of happiness as they introduce Princess Charlotte to the world outside The Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital, London.
For Princess Charlotte's first official portraits, taken in Norfolk on 6 June 2015, Kate turned photographer for the day. Proud big brother Prince George kisses his sister's head gently.
Princess Charlotte's christening took place on 5 July 2015 at the Church of St Magdalene on the Queen's Sandringham Estate. Doting mum Kate takes Charlotte past the hundreds of well-wishers gathered outside.

Once again the Duchess of Cambridge chose to capture these photos herself, rather than hire a professional. The adorable images were captured at the family's country home Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, on 29 November 2015.

This image was taken in late October in the grounds of Kensington Palace, by photographer Chris Jelf. The Duke and Duchess released it on 18 December 2015 as an early Christmas present to their supporters. Prince William keeps an eye on playful George, while Kate balances Charlotte on her knee.

Princess Charlotte is the star of the show, as she poses on the knee of her great-grandmother the Queen for an official photograph released on 21 April 2016 for Her Majesty's 90th birthday.
Charlotte and Prince George are joined in the green drawing room at Buckingham Palace by their cousins Mia Tindall (holding the Queen's handbag), Viscount Severn (aged eight), Lady Louise (12) and Savannah (five) and Isla Phillips (three).
To mark the royal's first birthday, Kensington Palace released a set of official new portraits. And in keeping with the Duchess of Cambridge's style, creative Kate took the photos herself.
The adorable shots show Charlotte looking precious in pink and blue dresses with matching bows and Early Days 'Emma' shoes. Three of the pictures were taken in the comfort of their home whilst one snap shows the little Princess in the garden, with family dog Lupo behind her.
In one of the pictures, Charlotte can be seen with the popular sound and action book, The Wheels on the Bus by David Ellwand.
