Cristiano Ronaldo has a lot to celebrate right now: he won the Champions League with Real Madrid in May, before going on to captain Portugal to victory in the Euro 2016 final earlier this month. So it seems only fair that he is currently enjoying some much needed downtime with family.

The 31-year-old Real Madrid player has been in Ibiza with his son Cristiano Jr and mother Dolores Aveir, and kept fans up-to-date on his travels with some seriously cute pictures. The father and son duo caught some rays before cooling off together in the pool, and Cristiano captioned the shots: "Spending time with my little man."

Of course Cristiano also took the opportunity to show off his extremely buff body and enviable tan, posing shirtless in a pair of tiny trunks. He is currently undergoing rehab on his knee following the a knee accident sustained during the Euro 2016 final, but has assured his fans he will be back on the pitch as soon as possible.

In a video message posted on his Facebook page, he said: "Hi guys, I just wanted to send you all a hug, especially to my fans, and tell you that everything is fine and that I will come back even stronger. Thank you for everything."

During the break, Cristiano also caught up with some friends and chartered a private yacht just off the coast of the Mediterranean island.
