Barack, Michelle, Sasha and Malia Obama may have moved out of the White House, but they aren't living too far away. The former first family, who moved into a 8,200 square foot home in the neighbourhood of Kalorama, after the former president's term, officially own the nine-bedroom mansion.
"Given that the President and Mrs. Obama will be in Washington for at least another two and a half years, it made sense for them to buy a home rather than continuing to rent property," Barack's spokesman said about the family's $8.1 million purchase.
