Sophie Hamilton

As HELLO!'s Deputy Features Editor, I work across both the magazine and online writing exclusive celebrity interviews and features. I love nothing better than getting to know A-list stars and sharing their stories.

I joined HELLO! in 2017 as a news writer, moving into the Lifestyle section and then working as Parenting Editor for five years before becoming Deputy Features Editor in 2025. During my time at HELLO!, I’ve covered everything from royal weddings and celebrity events to high-profile interviews.

I'm proud to head our 'Safer Spaces' hub, dedicated to helping children and teenagers stay safe online. This new campaign features news and support features specifically helping families as they navigate challenges such as screen time, online dangers and mental health concerns.

My career in journalism started with my Postgraduate Diploma in Periodical Journalism at the London College of Communication, following my degree in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at London's King's College. From there I interned at several national publications and joined New Woman Magazine as Junior Writer. I then worked at Sun Online, Bella, Sky Magazine and Woman in the areas of features and celebrity.

Outside of work, I’m a devoted mum of two teenagers and love a spot of yoga, travel and chilling with my cat.
