When Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake's Italian wedding was revealed, we were all on tenterhooks to see what the Hollywood actress chose for her big day. Jessica told HELLO! in an exclusive of the couple's wedding – on sale now – that she was determined her dress would be all about "romance, romance, romance", explaining that she wanted it to be both "kind of whimsical and dramatic".
And she certainly achieved the glow of a fairytale bride, for which she turned to help from designer and close friend Giambattista Valli.
The custom creation was a beautiful rose-pink strapless gown, enhanced with layers of delicate tulle adding volume, drama and the romance fit for any bride's dream.
Finished with a unique floor length veil embellished with a personal touch – miniature heirloom pearls from her grandmother's wedding day tiara – this flowing piece of artistry was fixed into Jessica's volumised up-do and softened with a sweeping fringe. It's not the first time the 30-year-old has opted for the Italian designer's creations. Often spotted modelling some of his bridal-like creations on the red carpet, she recently wore an all-white feather ensemble to sit front row at Giambattista's Paris Fashion Week show. But the 7th Heaven actress went against the traditionally worn white dress for her special day, opting for this beautiful pink confection. She matched the colour of her dress with petal pink lips, whilst keeping her eye-make up subtle with a glowing bronze shadow that widened and defined the brunette's gorgeous gaze.
"It was very feminine and fun," said Justin's leading lady, who wore yellow and pink diamond and rose gold earrings by Martin Katz. She added another personal touch – Justin said that they wanted to keep the day "very personal" – her something borrowed was a pink pearl bracelet from her mother-in-law, Lynn Harless.
The bouquet consisted of chamomile, ranunculus and ruscus, and the pair exchanged gold bands with a hammer finish they designed with Leor Yeru-shalmi of the Jewelers of Las Vegas.
Justin opened up on the moment he first saw Jessica walking down the aisle in her custom Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown, describing the new Mrs Timberlake as "the most beautiful thing I have ever seen".
Meanwhile, the singer was the dashing groom in an expertly tailored Tom Ford suit and bow tie. The pair exchanged gold bands with a hammer finish that they designed with Leor Yeru-shalmi of the Jewellers of Las Vegas.
