Cher Lloyd has surprised fans by marrying her hairdresser boyfriend Craig Monk in a secret wedding ceremony.The former X Factor star announced the news by uploading a snapshot onto Instagram with a simple love heart caption and Monday's date, 18/11/2013, next to it.In the sweet black-and-white snapshot, Cher can be seen wearing a strapless white wedding gown and veil, and carrying a bouquet of roses. Her new husband stands by her side wearing a suit and tie.

It wasn't long before the 20-year-old was inundated with messages of congratulations from her followers. Among the first to offer their best wishes was Cher's former X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole.
"Wow!! Heard your good news. Congratulations @CherLloyd," she wrote on her Twitter page. "I hope you have many more happy years and memories to come. Cheryl x. "Cher — who found fame on the X Factor in 2010 — got engaged to Craig in 2011, and decided to have a heart tattooed on her wedding finger in addition to wearing a beautiful diamond ring.She has made no secret of her love for for Craig, and her excitement at getting married.

"I'm engaged and want to get married as soon as possible," the Swagger Jagger singer told the Mirror last year. "I can't wait. "I love Craig and he makes me happy. I know I am going to spend the rest of my life with him."
