Hilary Duff has tweeted her congratulations to sister Haylie Duff after hearing of her engagement to her partner Matt Rosenberg.
The actress-and-singer was thrilled about not having to keep the news to herself anymore when her elder sibling finally shared her joy with fans. Afterwards, the ex Lizzie McGuire star told her 4.28 million followers that she was about to get a new addition to the family.

“So happy to not have to keep this news in!! My beautiful sister @HaylieDuff and her amazing boyfriend @Matt_STS are engaged!!!!” she wrote.
It came after Haylie wrote a blog post on her food website Real Girls’ Kitchen that she was to walk down the aisle for the first time.

Hilary and Mike tied the knot in 2010 after three years of dating and welcomed their son Luca into the world in 2012.
