Designers including Jenny Packham and Monique Lhuillier showcased their latest bridal designs at New York Bridal Week.British designer Jenny debuted her Spring / Summer 2015 collection which featured a number of silver and metallic coloured dresses as well as traditional ivory gowns.The models, who were praised for having a variety of figures and body shapes, sported slimline, fitted dresses many of which were embellished with beads and featured large statement jewels.
Jenny Packham's collectionLos Angeles-based fashion house Monique Lhuillier, whose bridal creations have caught the eye of stars such as Olivia Wilde, showcased some more traditional designs including dresses with full skirts, long trains and veils.While many of Monique's creations were strapless, some came with stylish sheer panels and sleeves.Standing out amoung the host of cream, ivory and white dresses was Monique's 'something blue' gown, a cornflower hued number with tulle netting flowers on the skirt.
Monique Lhuillier's latest bridal designsWhile other bridal weeks, such as the one in Barcelona, see exhibitors come together under one roof, New York's exhibition style more similar in style to the world's Fashion Weeks. The list of designers is lengthy, and will see brides-to-be flocking from one end of the city to the other to view the various showrooms.
