Katherine Jenkins had fans excited when she stepped out in a flowing, white bridal-inspired gown. The Welsh-born opera singer, who got engaged to her boyfriend of six months in April, gave her followers a glimpse of what she could be wearing on the big day, in a snap she posted on Instagram. Katherine, 33, was in China, launching British Airways' new 787 Dreamliner that will offer direct flights from London Heathrow to Chengdu in Western China.
Standing from the top of the steps of the airplane, Katherine gave a flawless performance of the Leonard Cohen classic Hallelujah. The beautiful blonde is often dressed to the nines for her concerts, which have included singing in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance. For Tuesday's launch, Katherine looked an angelic vision, dressed in an empire-style gown featuring beaded capped sleeves and a matching beaded waistline. The bride-to-be paired her frock with simple drop earrings, leaving all attention to her sparkling diamond ring. The rock in question holds a large oval stone surrounded by 54 small diamonds. Katherine was clearly taken by the moment as she captioned her Instagram photo, "Definitely a first...!! Launching the new 787 Dreamliner in Chengdu, China for British Airways."

After her performance, Katherine was presented with a mammoth bouquet of flowers, which matched the floral-adorned steps. She then posed inside the club world cabin for photos with British Airways executive chairman Keith Williams. The mezzo-soprano, who was awarded an OBE from Prince Charles earlier this year, accepted the proposal from her artist fiancé Andrew Levitas in April. The couple had waited until all their family members had been told before breaking the news officially.

Katherine, who has kept her relationship largely out of the spotlight, said that she was "thrilled" and "surprised" by the proposal. This is not the first time Katherine has been engaged. In 2011 she announced that she was to wed former Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones. Following their split, Katherine headed stateside and now splits her time between London and New York.
