Kim Kardashian clearly had her wedding on her mind as she attended her bridal shower on Saturday 10 May. The reality TV star stepped out in a white mini dress that featured a pleated collar and a pearl necklace attached to it. Kim, 33, looked every inch the bride-to-be as she rocked the dress and showed off her hourglass figure. The celebration was held at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, exactly two weeks before Kim and her rapper fiancé Kanye West will tie the knot in Paris on 24 May.
In a nod to their choice of wedding destination, Kim's bridal shower was Parisian-themed. Each guest was given a box of Ladurée treats and a small white chocolate Eiffel Tower statue by their name place. Kim's nearest and dearest were all in attendance, including her mother Kris Jenner, sisters Kourtney and Khloé, and half sisters Kendall and Kylie. Some of Kanye's relatives had also flown in for the occasion, while friends from nearby included Brittny Gastineau, Larsa Pippen, Joyce Bonelli, Rachel Roy and Shelli Azoff. Kim and Kris arrived at the lavish hotel in a black Rolls Royce, and were soon followed by Kendall and Kylie. The intimate celebration was held in the hotel's Verandah room, where guests feasted on bagels, brioche French toast, smoked bacon, chicken gyros, and country pork sausage patties. Champagne and a chocolate cake finished the meal.
The highlight of the bash seemed to be the photo booth, as Kim rallied her friends and family to pose for funny snaps. The bride-to-be shed some light on the guest list as she uploaded a few photos to her Instagram page.
In one image, Kim is seen posing with her close friend Ciara, who is due to give birth any day now, and in another, the star cuddles up to blonde beauty Leah Jenner, the wife of her stepbrother Brandon.
Each black and white snap had Kim and Kanye's names printed on the top right hand corner, and guests were able to take the photos home in frames. Earlier this week, the couple's wedding invitation was leaked. It confirmed Kim and Kanye will be celebrating their nuptials in the French capital later this month. While the exact location is not given, it does describe that there will be a glamorous pre-party the day before and asks guests to wear cocktail attire.
