Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding photo of the pair kissing in front of a wall of white flowers was the most popular snap on Instagram, gaining over 2.33million "likes". The photographer who was tasked with capturing that perfect shot, however, was relatively unknown – 22-year-old Conor McDonnell. The Liverpool creative was asked to step in at the last minute, after world famous photographer Annie Leibovitz pulled out the day before. Conor was immediately flown to Florence, Italy for Kim and Kanye's extravagant nuptials at the historic Forte di Belvedere.

"It was a bit surreal but good to get the call," Conor told BBC. "I didn't really have time to think about it, it was another job for me and I thought, 'You've just got to focus.'"When asked how he felt about landing this dream job that could ultimately change his career, Conor said, "I didn't really want to think about that. I don't like thinking about that, it could all go wrong on the day." The former shop worker, who has a long history of collaborating with the likes of Ellie Goulding and Rita Ora, also reflected on the photo in question, which Kanye admitted took four hours to perfect and touch up.

"It's kind of hard to believe, I look at it and look at the amount of people who liked it and think I took that," said Conor. "It's cool seeing all those numbers underneath of the people who've actually liked it." Conor himself shared a few wedding snaps on Instagram days after the ceremony, following Kim and Kanye's example. "I had the absolute honour and pleasure of shooting Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding on Saturday," he captioned one image of the power couple taking their first steps as newlyweds.

Kim, 33, is never one to shy away from social media and has been keeping her fans updated with married life. The reality TV star caused a frenzy among her 15.5million Instagram followers when she posted a photo of herself on Thursday wearing a blonde wig. "It's baaaaack!!!! #BlondeHairDontCare thanks to@SergeNormant," she wrote alongside the first of three snaps. "It's just a wig! Looks so real though right?" Kim posted next to another one, showing off her new summer 'do. The mum-of-one has frequently changed from her natural dark brunette shade to blonde tones, with the last switch happening three months before her wedding.
