Olivia Palermo 'marries' German model Johannes Huebl in a secret New York wedding

June 27, 2014

Has Olivia Palermo secretly tied the knot? There are reports that the stylish socialite married her German model fiancé Johannes Huebl at New York's City Hall last Saturday with just three guests in attendance. The alleged wedding was apparently promoted by visa issues. "They were planning a big wedding in the fall, but Johannes left Wilhelmina Models last year, and he currently isn't with an agency, and was told he would have to leave the US in September," a source told The New York Post.

"

Olivia's friends were surprised when they got married at City Hall on Saturday, with the only guests being his friend Ulli Saeuberlich and her parents, who weren't happy with the rush but decided to be there at the last minute. "However, a spokeswoman for 28-year-old Olivia denied the couple have married, saying, "They had always planned to have a small civil ceremony in June. "The whole visa thing is not relevant. They have been together for six-and-a-half years, they got engaged this past January. The travel so much during the summer, they don't really have much time to plan things. They are not married yet.

"They are doing a much smaller civil ceremony in the States this month and they are planning to do something much larger later on. "Olivia had previously hinted that she wanted to marry outside of the United States. "Johannes' friends and family are all over Europe and my parents are happy to travel, so it will probably be somewhere in the middle," she recently said. "Then you will always have a special place in your heart for the destination where you got married."
