Model Lindsay Ellingson has married her long-time love Sean Clayton. The Victoria's Secret Angel and the medical sales representative wed in an intimate ceremony in South Carolina on Saturday 12 July. The bride wore a custom-made design by Sophie Theallet, according to Us Weekly, while the groom donned a suit by Tom Ford.
Lindsay Ellingson got engaged to her boyfriend of six years Sean Clayton last November
In front of 85 of their closest friends and family, Lindsay and Sean exchanged vows at The Inn at Palmetto Bluff – a beautiful getaway resort near the sea. Two days before the ceremony, Lindsay gave no hint of her imminent nuptials as she shared an Instagram photo from what looked to be the wedding venue. "Waking up in my favorite place," she captioned the image of two deck chairs overlooking the water. The blonde beauty, who has modelled for the likes of Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Christian Dior, seemed to show no signs of pre-wedding nerves as she posted the peaceful snap.
Lindsay and Sean got engaged last November when the pair were spending Thanksgiving in Ohio with the groom's parents. "Sean's proposal was really special," the California-born model previously told the American website. "He took me on a walk through the woods on a beautiful snowy day in Ohio, he stopped to show me where his parents had carved their initials back in high school. "I looked up and before I knew it he was on his knee with a gorgeous ring. Sean custom made it, it's rose gold with an oval diamond. It's absolutely perfect."
